2011 Tohoku Earthquake and Tsunami Charity Bazaar

We raised $15,451.50 (About 1,320,000 yen).

Ms. Mai Hiraoka, from Nihon Clinic, planned the charity bazaar that was held at SAINTS on April 2nd and 3rd, 2011.

Many people brought donations to sell at the bazaar in advance. On both Saturday and Sunday, we had a bake sale, a charity show, planned by one of SAINTS’ parents, and a wristband and magnet sale (both items were designed by Japanese people living in Atlanta). There were many volunteers who helped before the bazaar as well as on both days of the event.

We sent the money raised to the Red Feather Community Chest Movement http://www.akaihane.or.jp/english/index.html.

Thank you so much to all of the volunteers and people who came to support this event.
